I went back to study this year.

In the wee hours of January 1, 2016, strolling home from the midnight mass, Kabiyesi had asked

I smiled

“I’m going after everything, afresh”

More often than not, these days, I feel like an egg waiting to hatch. Growth is never a work over, the push, strains, but the vision remains pure.

Best friend: My first best friend was a pretty muslim girl, who was my seat partner in a catholic primary school. Her name was Yemi Moses. We had a pretty tearful break-away moment, when I moved on to secondary school in primary five, and she had gone ahead to primary six. I was scared of the future without her, who would teach me long division?

I still don’t know long division, and haven’t seen Yemi since. Do you know where she is?

Award: Not very sure I have any. Sent in a small entry for Etisalat Mother’s day years ago, won a phone for my mom. Does that count?
